TRiO - Upward Bound Math and Science

TRiO is a federal outreach and student service program designed to help students see the benefits and possibilities of a post-secondary education. The TRiO program is administered by the Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit.

Upward Bound Math and Science: 

Works with approximately 52 students (due to its higher academic requirements and commitment) focusing mainly on STEM careers.  Administers in the following high schools:  Corry High School, Erie High School and Union City High School
Upward Bound Math and Science is for students pursuing a post-secondary degree in science, technology, engineering and mathematics for a successful STEM career.

·         Academic Tutoring
·         Career Exploration
·         College Visits
·         College Application Fee Waivers
·         SAT/ACT Waivers and Tutoring
·         FAFSA Assistance
·         Financial Literacy information
·         Assistance and guidance in completing College Applications and Scholarships
·         Dual Enrollment opportunities to area universities
·         STEM Activities
·         Summer Academic Institutes
