Substitute Training and Observation
All Emergency Substitute Teachers are required to complete mandatory online training and then complete a full-day observation within an IU5 classroom or at one of the participating districts. The training and the observation are both unpaid. Any certified teacher who joins the consortium is not required to complete the training or observation, but may do so at their own discretion.
