 Applications Description
The IU offers great employment opportunities for anyone looking to make a difference in the education and life of a young child.
Applications for applicable positions are kept on file for one year unless updated.
To apply for certified teaching and/or administrative positions with the Intermediate Unit, go to www.PA-Educator.net and fill out the online application and follow the user-friendly instructions.

 Yearly Positions
Day-to-Day Substitute Educational Interpreters for Hearing-Impaired Students 09-10 SYUse SHIFT+ENTER to open the menu (new window).
Pay rate is minimum wage x 7.5 hours
If interested, please submit a completed Supportive Personnel Application  to Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit; Attn:  Mary Charlton; 252 Waterford Street; Edinboro, PA  16412, along with a copy of any transcripts (if applicable) and copies of current Child Abuse (Act 151), Criminal Record History (Act 34), and FBI Fingerprint (Act 114) clearances.

NOTE:  We will reimburse the cost of clearances after 10 days of substituting for the IU.

Pay ranges from $7.15 to $10 per hour (based on individual district rates)

 Positions
Part-Time Speech TherapistUse SHIFT+ENTER to open the menu (new window).
Part-time itinerant position providing speech therapy services for early intervention children in day care/preschool programs within Northwestern, Girard, and General McLane School Districts approximately 22 hours per week.
Position available immediately.
Hourly Rate:  $31.44 per hour (Master's degree) with travel reimbursement between sites
Qualifications:  Valid PA Certification -Speech/Language Impaired, with PA Speech License and/or Certificate of Clinical Competence

Full-Time Special Education Teacher for GannondaleUse SHIFT+ENTER to open the menu (new window).
Gannondale has asked our assistance in posting their vacancy for a full-time special education teacher to work under contract through the end of this school year with adolescent females.
 
Hours:  8:15 AM to 2:45 PM , Mon. thru Fri.
Qualifications:  PA Special Education Certification required, experience preferred
Compensation:  $1247.00 every two weeks
