Substitute Training and Observation
All Emergency Substitute Teachers are required to complete mandatory training and then complete a full-day observation within an IU5 classroom or at one of the participating districts. Trainings are held at IU5 and scheduled when needed. The training and the observation are both unpaid. Any certified teacher who joins the consortium is not required to complete the training or observation, but may do so at their own discretion. If you have any additional questions, please contact HR at 734-8404.
